Micro Wedding

I admit it, I'm not sure I'd even heard of the term micro wedding before 2020.

Yes there have always been couples 'eloping' which is normally more a secret type affair, but a full on wedding with 20 or less guests wasn't a common occurrence that I'd come across. Until 2020 that is! 

Covid changed this and so many more things in the wedding & events industry. Some couples want to wait until they can have the wedding they want, no compromises. But lots more are saying 'do one Covid' by hook or by crook we will get married! 

So, what is a micro wedding? Well it depends who you are ask but I say it’s whatever you want it to be! It gives couples the opportunity to keep elements of a traditional wedding but on a much smaller scale. And just because it’s smaller doesn’t mean it should be any less spectacular. Get creative with your decor and maybe be a bit more decadent, if your budget allows. How about a champagne tower with delicious pink champagne or maybe a sumptuous dinner followed by a trio of desserts…

There is no right or wrong way. Just do what feels right and what makes you happy. So whether there are 5, 15 or 150 guests, your day will be the day of your dreams.
